Theosophy

A compound Greek word: theos, a "divine being," a "god"; sophia, "wisdom"; hence divine wisdom. Theosophy is the majestic wisdom-religion of the archaic ages and is as old as thinking man. It was delivered to the first human protoplasts, the first thinking human beings on this earth, by highly intelligent spiritual entities from superior spheres. This ancient doctrine, this esoteric system, has been passed down from guardians to guardians to guardians through innumerable generations until our own time. Furthermore, portions of this original and majestic system have been given out at various periods of time to various races in various parts of the world by those guardians when humanity stood in need of such extension and elaboration of spiritual and intellectual thought.

Theosophy is not a syncretistic philosophy-religion-science, a system of thought or belief which has been put together piecemeal and consisting of parts or portions taken by some great mind from other various religions or philosophies. This idea is false. On the contrary, theosophy is that single system or systematic formulation of the facts of visible and invisible nature which, as expressed through the illuminated human mind, takes the apparently separate forms of science and of philosophy and of religion. We may likewise describe theosophy to be the formulation in human language of the nature, structure, origin, destiny, and operations of the kosmical universe and of the multitudes of beings which infill it.

It might be added that theosophy, in the language of H. P. Blavatsky (Theosophical Glossary, p. 328), is "the sub-stratum and basis of all the world-religions and philosophies, taught and practiced by a few elect ever since man became a thinking being. In its practical bearing, Theosophy is purely divine ethics; the definitions in dictionaries are pure nonsense, based on religious prejudice and ignorance." (See also Universal Brotherhood)

it is amazing what a simple wikipedia looksie of theosophy can show one. People really love the glitter of things and train their perception on it, and spew bile from their own narrow self-reinforcing view of things. Enemies of truth, best if they hide in the darkness.

This is why I try to post only information from the Theosophical Glossary and Occult Glossary by two of the greatest Theosophists. Blavatsky and Purucker. I like to keep it as real as possible.

Past of Theosophy, in all ages of man has been a grasping hand at the corners of the folds, where the energy bends and transfers all data, from face to face.

It irks me when theosophy is associated so much with "new age" beliefs. As if Theosophy is some symptom of it, when it has always been here in those who could understand the base art, as geometry is the base science so to say. Of course geometry and art are highly interlaced.

New Age is relatively new, basically a group of people decided to merge all this hodge podge together and call it new age and it has been very lucrative for these people although it is taken from every ancient wisdom and marginalized. Theosophy is the Religion Philosophy and Science of The Gods. It is not modern and was here when Adam and Eve first walked the earth. The Masters were waiting for someone to bring the knowledge and teachings to man kind and that was Madame Blavatsky. People either are afraid of Theosophy or feel it is too hard to understand or just want to put it down to black magick which is terribly wrong but with all great occult bridges it doesn't rot crash or become unsteady only the person who gives up on it.

My own words on the subject.

This is a brief explanation on Theosophy . Many people do not know what Theosophy is or understand Theosophists. I hope this clears up any misconceptions.



Theosophy is a combination of Philosophy, Science and Religion. It is founded on the principles of Universal Brotherhood, that all men and women are created equal. It has members who are Christians, Atheists, Agnostics, and Satanists. Theosophy is the Wisdom-Religion . By becoming a Theosophist one is essentially on the path to becoming a God, through teachings, meditations, life lessons, and listening to the still small voice within. One does stumble on Theosophy by accident, as Theosophy does not look for Disciples, but men and women search for Theosophy through a longing and a yearning to find a truth that is higher than any esoteric knowledge given.. Theosophy is not for every one as it takes years as a Chela to connect not only with the God within but the Masters that live and teach in the Astral. It will awaken powers within that you never thought possible, and will awaken not only the Kundalini but psychic abilities that have laid dormant for many years. You find Theosophy it does not find you, and you only find it when you are ready to embark upon a long but wonderful journey. We are all Children of Gods, and Theosophy connects you to the powers that have eluded you for ages. The Golden Dawn is rooted in Theosophy. The Theosophical goals are as follows:

* To diffuse among men a knowledge of the laws inherent in the universe;
* to promulgate the knowledge of the essential unity of all that is, and to demonstrate that this unity is fundamental in nature;
* to form an active brotherhood among men;
* to study ancient and modern religion, science, and philosophy;
* to investigate powers innate in man.

The Theosophical society was founded by HP Blavatsky and others in 1875. H P Blavatsky is one of the greatest occultists that ever lived with powers far beyond what one ever dreams of acquiring. . She was quoted by Dion Fortune, Gerald Mathers, Israel Regardie, and Crowley. Her occult knowledge surpassed most Western occultists. The goal is to become far beyond what normal man is and to become a God. . By studying Theosophy you will embark on a wonderful journey, that will be rewarding in many ways. Remember :Satyat Nasti paro dharma , which means "There is no Religion higher than truth!"
