Whoo another forum

Hola, my name is Jess and I'm 23 and going back to college for Ancient History after losing my job as a Electrical Technician back in '11. I am full-blooded Native American but really to me it's just a fancy way of saying I'm American. I lived on a real Indian Reservation, Casino and all, until I was about 9 years old.

I'm interested in learning about Element/elemental, Ceremonial, and Shamanism while on this path of enlightenment.

Oh, and I love myths. Alot. If anyone is up for a good debate/discussion on myths I am fully up for it.

Emma offers some awesome courses here, when I was back in college I had a few friends who were native and really knew their own culture and I was able to share a lot about my own, my name is Wangyal and I am from Bhutan, I think we will have a lot to discuss Smile

Thank you for the Welcome mangyal, I bet it is really awesome living in the Himalayas! I wouldn't say I REALLY know about my culture, but my favorite thing is myths so I know alot of the stories our tribal Elders would tell us. Even though I've spent most of my time outside of the reservations, the way I was raised was that spirits are all around us from the leaves on a tree to the largest mountain. So I guess you could say my culture did mold me.

I am considered Cherokee, but my mother is 1/2 Choctaw and 1/2 White (I think she has told me she is of French decent).
